Staff position working as a consultant in the energy industry supporting oil and gas soil and groundwater remediation projects, conducting site evaluations, and preparing technical/compliance reports to regulatory agencies. This position reports to senior staff. assisting project with various assignments on an as needed basis. Time management and communication skills are key. A love for the outdoors and a diversified level of projects.

Role Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Staff Geologist/Engineer or Environmental Scientist responsible to conduct field work including multi-media sampling (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil gas, air samples, etc.)
• Oversee soil excavation projects
• Analyze analytical reports
• Preparation of technical reports and compliance forms to regulatory agencies
• Mixture of field and office work

QUALIFICATIONS

​• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering, or Environmental Science.
• Two plus years of consulting/industry experience.
• Excellent technical writing skills; organizational and communications skills
• Computer skills including MS Word and Excel, CADD and/or Visio.
• Field equipment experience utilizing PID, Trimble, gas meters, etc.
• Schedule, perform and document field activities, oversight of subcontractors.
• Demonstrate ability to analyze basic field and technical data.
• Able to communicate solutions in writing, verbally and graphically.
• Provide constructive feedback to supervisor during and after assignments.
• Satisfactory driving record
• Enjoys working outside!
